It just dawned on me tonight that I havent been posting the phases of music Ive been into lately..
and you all know im such a sucker connoisseur for the girly music.. It truly hits me in different levels..
first I get the album and I listen to it as a whole. Which is great.
Yhen its gets to to the part when each song becomes its own.. which is great.
Then it gets to the level when I actually can sing along which is the greatest!!
Then it gets to that part when certain songs get totally stuck in my head. which is cool yet maybe a bit     annoying…especially to those around me..

I’ve been drawing everyday. For the exercise of it all and the pure joy of being creative in some way. It feels really good. I’ve truly fallin in love with drawing these headress girls. They really come to life in a deep magical way and they end up having their own personality. They are fun to draw and Ive learned a lot about myself thru them.. for instance I can only whip up about 4 different flowers out of my head..DOH! who knew? I def. need to expand my flower drawing capacity! Here are the two newest ones one is named Flora and the winged one has yet to have a name.. any ideas??

School has started up again for me and as my teacher says its “keepin me off the streets” (hah ahah)
Im still trying to find a good palette for my plate design. Who knew it would be so challenging? What are the perfect colors for a plate?? Any ideas????? Ive tried black and white, yellow and black, monotone colors and all sorts of stuff. Even though none have worked so far- I definatly feel like my painting skills have improved which is always a plus. I bought some fancy new brushes that really do the trick and add new fun into the mix. ( ok i know that rhymed.. so dorky) they are the Windsor & Newton kolinsky sable brushes series 7. Man ohh Man are they amazing. They hold the gouache perfectly and the outcome is very smooth. I end up feeling like a real professional painter. Which I guess is the goal right?!

Ok ill admit it, I’m a total dork when it comes to reading the blogs.. I’m not attracted to all blogs, just the fancy ones by people who are creative or who like creative neat stuff.. I have about 6 of them that I read everyday-or at least flip to hoping they have a new post.. Heather Bailey is def. one of them.. I love love love her work.. shes a total inspiration. Especially because shes a fabric designer (Which I’m on the path to be) and is really good at it. Her palettes and prints are amazing, -plus shes a super crafty lady in terms of sewing and decorating, oh- and the most important- her presentation of things! Total eye candy!
Speaking of eye candy and total delight she just launched her new website! Included in the big Hoopla is the debut of her new fabric line ‘Pop Garden” as well as her new line of fun scrap book doo dahs.. oh and she has some sewing pattterns up in there as well. Too fun!!
