Dear Coffee,

Please do the same for me as you did yesterday. You got me so jacked up that I was finally able to tackle my bedroom and get it cleaned, rearranged and redecorated! But you see Coffee, because I DID all those things I now have a very messy unorganized rest of my house.. So please be a trooper and help a girl out! Lets get jacked up so I can the rest of my house clean and lovely too!

Ive been making my own versions of kokeshi dolls! Im having so much fun with them.. They each have their own little personality.. and they are so fun to make . I can pretty much put anything on them and they are as sweet as can be.

Im doing my first art show with them this Saturday in Sebastopol, Ca.! I cant wait to introduce them to everyone.

My friend Dan Parker came over the other day to photograph them and we ended up making a little dorky claymation like movie. It was super amateur but was a catalyst to wanting to make more with an actual plot and forethought.

Lots of changes round here! It has almost been a year since I last wrote, and boy what a lovely crazy year!! I got married! I had no idea how much energy and time went into planning a wedding.Especially when you are doing it all yourself with out a wedding planner. Luckily our friends came to the rescue and helped out to make things go as smooth as can be. People keep asking me how married life is…. I definitely went through a rites of passage and I like to think I came out on top! A winner and a warrior! Its a crazy journey for sure and I’m pretty delighted with the outcome..I do feel different. More content and at peace in a way. There is a definite cuteness and a new sort of love that you feel. As well as a new sence of excitement and opportunity knowing that you will have this person by your side and your a team conquering lifes great ups and downs. Its pretty cool!

So now that the whole wedding thing is over I have more time to write on this here blog and do art! Woo hoo! More on all this later. Stay tuned! xo
