The owl keeper
While searching for inspiring prints and such I found this lady on one of my favorite blogs. Her name is Sanna Annukka and with a name like that you know shes special and most likely Finnish. (which she is) It seems like the artists from Finland and the area are rocking it right now and im so jazzed because I love their styles. Very clean, potent and colorful. Sanna Annukka is a print maker/illustrator and draws her inspiration from old folklore, camping on the artic rivers (imagine that!!) and exploring the forests as a youth. Shes also been featured on music album covers and is now featured here on latocatenderoni! For more on her you can check out her site.

So this is an old post from October. For some reason it was getting spammed really hard. I didnt want to erase it because I love cocorosie so much. So im reposting it. O and F.Y.I their new album The adventures of ghosthorse and stillborn is awesome!! You should definately check it!

Just when I thought all good girlie music had died and gone to sweet heaven. I found Cocorosie.. Soo refreshing yet so strange enchanting erie and nice and comfy. I actually stumbled upon them randomly on myspace thru Bunny Rabbit (down in the dirty dirt is where she wants to flirt) who I discovered thru a friend. This was pretty much yesterday and at this point I have read most everything bout them, seen most videos on youtube and listened to them all day long. They are definitely an interesting team. So- ive been cleaning up my art zone to make room for new projects ( art show comin up) and Fabric design assignments (for school) .First on my list is to finish little projects along the way. Im definately one who expects to finish a project in one sitting and if I dont for some reason it will sit there while I move on to the next jazzy thing. Yes im a bit schizo with my art. So heres my little robots that ive applicaed.. I think they are so darling and very quirky and I cant believe they chose me to help them come to earth. Im so blessed! Next up is my bird pillow ive bitten from Anthropologie.. and some more resin pendents, and more greeting cards and purses and photos and such to put into frames and so on and so on…..
